server and workload security

Server & Workload

Protect the servers, virtual machines and containers that run your business - on-premises, in the data centre and in the cloud.

Server & Workload: overview

Server and workload security protects the physical servers, virtual machines and containers that run your business applications. SecureBeans deploys workload protection with anti-malware, host intrusion prevention, virtual patching for unpatched vulnerabilities, file integrity monitoring and configuration hardening across on-premises data centres and AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

We deliver server protection mainly with Trend Micro Server & Workload Protection and Broadcom (Symantec), integrated with your vulnerability management and SIEM.

Server & Workload at a glance

Server and workload protection across data centre and cloud

Server and workload protection secures physical servers, virtual machines and containers that run your business. SecureBeans deploys anti-malware, host intrusion prevention, file integrity monitoring and application control on Windows and Linux, and extends the same policy to hybrid cloud security on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

Virtual patching and container security

Critical servers often cannot be patched quickly. Virtual patching shields known vulnerabilities at the network layer until a maintenance window, and container security scans images and protects Kubernetes workloads at runtime. Together they close the gap between disclosure and remediation, which is where most cloud workload protection failures happen.

Platforms we deploy

We implement Trend Micro Server & Workload Protection for broad hybrid coverage, Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security for virtualised and cloud estates outside the US, and Symantec Data Center Security for hardened, policy-locked servers in regulated environments.

FAQ

Server & Workload - frequently asked questions

What is cloud workload protection?

Cloud workload protection secures servers, virtual machines, containers and serverless functions in hybrid and multi-cloud environments with anti-malware, intrusion prevention, integrity monitoring and vulnerability shielding.

What is virtual patching?

Virtual patching uses intrusion prevention rules to block exploitation of a known vulnerability on a server until the official patch can be tested and installed.

Do servers need different security from laptops?

Yes. Servers need workload-aware controls such as virtual patching, integrity monitoring and application control, with minimal performance impact and support for virtualisation and containers.
