privileged access management (PAM)

Identity & Access

Make sure only the right people reach the right systems - with strong sign-in, controlled admin access and regular access reviews.

Identity & Access: overview

Identity is the new perimeter. SecureBeans deploys privileged access management (PAM) to vault, rotate and monitor administrator credentials and sessions, single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) for every application, endpoint privilege management to remove local admin rights, and identity governance for access reviews and joiner-mover-leaver control.

We deliver identity and access management with Delinea (Secret Server, Privilege Manager), RevBits PAM and Microsoft Entra ID.

What's included

SSO & MFA

Secure, passwordless sign-in for every application, with multi-factor authentication where it matters.

Identity & Access at a glance

Privileged access management at the centre of identity security

Attackers do not break in, they log in. Identity security therefore starts with privileged access management: vaulting and rotating admin credentials, brokering sessions, recording activity and removing standing rights. SecureBeans deploys Delinea Secret Server, Privilege Manager and RevBits PAM depending on scale, budget and integration needs.

Least privilege, just-in-time access and zero standing privilege

We enforce least privilege by removing local admin rights and elevating applications by policy. Just-in-time access grants rights only when approved and only for as long as needed, moving you towards zero standing privilege. Privileged remote access gives vendors and contractors controlled, recorded access without a VPN.

Microsoft Entra ID, multi-factor authentication and machine identities

We integrate PAM with Microsoft Entra ID or Active Directory, enforce multi-factor authentication and conditional access, and bring service accounts, API keys and other machine identities under management. Identity threat protection then watches for credential misuse and lateral movement.

FAQ

Identity & Access - frequently asked questions

What is privileged access management (PAM)?

Privileged access management (PAM) is a set of tools and processes that vault, rotate, control and record the use of high-risk accounts such as domain admins, root, database owners and service accounts, so attackers cannot easily misuse them.

Which PAM solution is best?

Delinea is a recognised enterprise PAM leader; RevBits PAM combines PAM with endpoint and email security; Microsoft Entra Privileged Identity Management suits cloud-first Microsoft estates. SecureBeans recommends based on your systems, scale and budget.

What is the difference between IAM and PAM?

Identity and access management (IAM) manages every user's identity and access, including SSO and MFA. PAM is a specialised part of identity security that controls the small number of privileged accounts with administrative power.

Is PAM required for compliance?

PAM directly supports controls in ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2 and State Bank of Pakistan cybersecurity guidance on privileged account management, logging and least privilege.
